I hope someone can help with this. We configure our Elite 8300 workstations in the BIOS by setting the following:
1. Set to power "on" after a power loss
2. Set to power on daily at 8:00 AM
3. Set Wake-On-Lan to enabled.
Afterwhich, the machine boots but nothing shows on the screen. No post message or splash screen, nothing. I've found that the specic setting from above that is causing this is #2, set the power on daily at 8:00am. When this is enabled and the days are set to 8:00am, save the settings and exit, the machine will not show anything on the screen. If you change this setting back to disabled, then the machine will post normally and you can see the video output. We are seeing this on a couple of HP 8300 Small Form Factor machines. Not all but a few. Any ideas on how o correct this?
