I was pulling a BIOS from the support website and found a set of Linux utilities

Go to driver download

http://www8.hp.com/us/en/drivers.html

Search for
HP Compaq Pro 6300 Microtower PC

Select
     Windows 7 Pro

Look in the BIOS section for  Business Desktops BIOS Utilities

The following text was extracted after downloading and extracting SoftPaq 58029

     SoftPaq Number: SP58029

     Business Desktops BIOS Utilities (International)

     5.03 Rev. B,  13 Feb 2014

The HP Utilities for Linux folder contains versions of the Replicated

Setup and DOS Flash utilities that are compatible with the Linux

Operating System.  See README.txt after installing.

There is a Linux directory with the following contents

     hp-flash-1.00-1_i686.tar.gz

     hp-flash-1.00-1_x86_64.tar.gz

     hp-repsetup-1.00-1_i686.tar.gz

     hp-repsetup-1.00-1_x86_64.tar.gz

     hpuefi-mod-1.0.3.tar.gz

     README.txt

Note that I have not attempted to compile or run these linux utilities on a system.
